Result Appeal
An appeal procedure may be initiated by the student if he or she is not satisfied with the results. The student should contact the program manager for advice regarding the appeal.

Students are allowed to appeal on their results within 7 working days from the release of the results. This applies to assessments and exam results. A non-refundable fee of S$50 (inclusive of prevailing GST) applies. This appeal should be via the student’s Program Manager.

There must be reasonable grounds for such an appeal. Legitimate reasons might include effect of an illness; death in the family, grade awarded is thought to be incorrect or any other irregularity that is considered by the student to have affected the result. The appeal must be in a written form bearing the student’s signature. This appeal letter, with supporting documents if applicable, will be received by the marker. The student can expect a response within 14 working days from date of appeal. When necessary, a meeting may be convened to get parties involved to discuss this matter.

Once an appeal is received, the Program Manager will consider the reasons behind the appeal with the Manager’s supervisor to determine the validity of the reasons. If the reasons are valid, the marker will be contacted to review the examination script. The result of the appeal will be the final result.
